Wilhelmina Artist Management has picked 7 touring LPGA players to tart up and take cheesecake-y pictures of in an effort to get someone outside of lesbians to give two sh*ts about wimmins' golf. That's all well and good, I suppose; women's tennis got way more viewers once hot chicks started playing gooder than the ugly ones. One thing from the above article seemed a little...um, well:
Kim Hall was the first player recruited by Esch. The 26-year-old, a three-time All-Pacific 10 Conference player at Stanford, loved the photographs of her in a swimsuit. So did her husband, Casey.
...When she is on the road, Hall said Casey likes to look at her pictures on the Internet, and has found it best to be talking on the phone with her at the same time.

As an obligatory aside, former University of Tulsa golfer (and three-time first team All-American) Stacy Prammanasudh is one of the Wilhelmina 7. So, you know, Tulsa > OKC. ;)

In conclusion, women's golfers and all women's athletes have for a long time relied on their appeal to men for stardom. However, the women continue to put up with less-than-attractive men in virtually all sports :mad:
