It's obvious the 2 reverends will be all over Imus, again, but I wonder if the 2 Reverends will forgive this and treat it like nothing.
The victim testified that she memorized features and scars of her torturer while trying to connect with him — even asking about his taste in music
Phil Collins, perhaps?

what does that guy have to do with Imus?
So the defendant doesn't have to be in the court for trial? I thought that was required?
what does that guy have to do with Imus?
That's what I was wondering too.

no, he has the right to face his accusers.
I assume he waived his right to be present at trial.

Not Genesis though. Too artsy and intellectual.
On a serious note, this guy is a subhuman scumbag and obviously deserves the worst punishment available. I'm not sure why an attempt was made to make this into a race issue. Scumbags come in all colors.

The flip flop mentality. Bring up something ten times more heinous that a black man did to a Caucasian so as to deflect the heat away from a brain dead crypt keeper like Imus. They're trying to portray Imus as a victim of something. What, I don't know. His own lack of professionalism???

did it say she was white, or did we assume that because she was a grad student? ;)

The defendant was probably poor when he was a kid which is why he did this. Can't we all just get along?

In cases like this, the punishment should definitely fit the crime. They need to punish him with every heinous thing he did to that woman but then finish the job.
