Ahhh, the invincibility of youth.
It escaped me today. Armed with knowledge(or so I thought), determination, ferocious tenacity, and the laurels of previous success, I struck out to claim the brass ring, or in this case, silver bugle. But providence, or her whore of a sister Fate, either one failed to show when her most stalwart standardbearer was in need. So here I sit, the growth of quiet, uncomfortable distance between me and my goal echoing like hell's greatest chasm, the only comfort to be found within the friendly confines of Kostritzer's schwarzbier, thoughts of the fall, and the yoke of the tome removed from my daily burden.
That is all. Just waxing elegant after a promotional exam kicked me in the balls.
