Note: I'm vaguely aware of how a person does an "iron cross" as seen here. The fact he can do it at an angle is the pwsom3.

in fact, we should petition the IOC to rename the "iron cross" the "flying dickwheel." It's in the air, its kinda wheel-y, and, well, chicks can't do one.

I swam with a girl on my USS team who is making her way up the olympic trial ladder. I'm not sure if she made it or not or even if the final olympic trials are over with. She was a hell of a swimmer though. I remember we had one meet in Missouri, I think, and she showed up with a broken arm and a cast. She just wrapped the cast in a plastic bag, swam her events, and still won.

She swims for Rice.

That I think this is a good idea proves one of 3 things:
1) You, sir, have finally flipped your lid,
2) I'm still drunk from last night, or
:les:3) We must begin the petition immediately!

If she can do all of that, you'd think she'd get paid a little better. Hell, even Chinese swimmers get more these days.

So, at what point to we admit that men's gymkata has surpassed football as OU's most successful sport? ;)

I watched the trials, the "Boomer Sooner" during his parallel bars was greatness.

Hey, they've already won five out of the last seven national titles and produced an Olympian.

Meanwhile, West Virgina just scored again. :D

Just as soon as they sell 80,000 tickets to their next home gym meet.

Not taking anything away from them, i'm hella proud of what they've done, but football it ain't.

well, I wouldn't call golf 'exciting', but I'd rather watch most golf.

Unless the Men's Gymnastics are vying for another title, then I'd watch. And did.

You people have difficulty grasping the concept of "successful". Not ticket sales, not how many many random mouth-breathers in Weeletka profess to be fans, but actual championships. Men's gymnastics at OU is the dynasty we all hoped football would be at the beginning of the decade.
