Does this look like a hook echo?

I wouldn't want to live anywhere near a town called Friendswood. Just sayin.

not a hook echo but have seen plenty of storms like that on radar where a tornado is likely to be at the bottom of the storm most likely where the hook echo would form.

Nothing happened there, as far as I know. I was poking (heh) fun at the name.

What's all that red and green junk? Did you sneeze on your monitor?

I drove underneath that storm and found myself about 50 yards from a tornado.

I have never been more scared. I was on the beltway which is a tollway so there were no exits, I just had to slow down and pray it wasn't going to fully form and start lifting cars.

It never fully formed, just whirled and dipped and swooped, and flirted with us.

It danced around and finally crossed the highway, and I booked it out of there.

very scary.

I try as best I can to stay away from Friendswood. In fact: if I'm near Friendswood, I don't even want to know about it.
