I don't know if anyone has seen this yet, but ESPN as part of their Face of the program dealio has done a face of the decade to show, in their opinion who best embodied that particular decade in college football.

I'm sure everyone will be pleased with who the chose for the 1950's

Nope. Michigan hasn't even won a consensus title since 1948.

****in' USC. We were on track to be the team of the decade until they ripped us in half and did a poor job of sewing us back together.

Have you all voted? I voted for the King in the 80's. I'm not voting in the '00 there isn't one good choice.

Bo and Woody in a decade in which Barry beat both? nonsense.

I know we had a couple of titles in the 70's, but can remember who they had in there. With those 3 losses to Miami being wins we could have been the face of the 80's.

Exactly what I was thinking. Barry coming in last? WTF? It almost feels like Barry Switzer is actually Rodney Dangerfield in disguise.

As well, they have the "Faces of College Football" version now. For coaches, they have Joe Pa and Bobby, but no Bud or Barry. A list with those two and not Bud is neglectful to say the least...I think ESPN must have not wanted for teams to represent more than one decade. SUC could have been a better choice for the 70s than Woddy & Bo. For the 2000's, LSU would have been a better choice than SUC, on pure MNCs. For title appearances, OU and tOSU outnumber SUC. What people forget is that SUC was average in 2000 and 2001.

I think some of the slobbing over suc is cus of their BCS record as well and we all know how much ESPN loves the BCS
