Field, Forest and Stream -- the history of Oklahomans and OUr love of outdoor recreation

Golf and the Ardmore Connection -- emphasis on Oklahoma's greatest golf figures Perry Maxwell (America's preeminent course designer -- Southern Hills, Prairie Dunes, Augusta National and his first course, Dornick Hills in ArdVegas) and Charlie Coe (two time US Amateur winner and holder all-time low round at OKC Golf and CC --59.) Both Ardmoreites.

Simply Red -- the significance of the color in many areas of Okie life -- our soil, sunsets, and Sooner crimson

This summer:

100 Years of Oklahoma Business -- emphasis on retail, manufacturing and services in the Sooner State

Oklahomans and the Presidential Conventions -- Reading room availability of papers, collections and recordings

Fall 2008:

Oklahoma: Tierra De Mi Familia -- Immigration and contributions of Latinos to OUr state.

Winter 2008/09

The Lincoln Bicentennial -- Celebrating the man and his legacy -- including on loan from the National Archives, the original Homestead Act the Great Man signed in 1862 opening America's Heartland to settlement by land-hungry people from around the world.

I rode the new bike through Philbrook awhile ago.

It's very pretty there.

The new Director of Philbrook lives next to my Parent's.

Very nice guy.

Also...they have lots of stuff for the kids to do this summer so check them out too.
