when you have over $6 million in annual income? (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25154267/)
We better not let this guy anywhere near the country's finances. :pop:
Carrying debt on a credit card? Not a bright idea. Maybe we're doomed either way.

People are stupid. Heck, Shaq makes a 18 million a year and has a 30,000 a month mortgage payment.

The bulk of the McCains’ obligations stemmed from a pair of American Express credit cards that are held in Cindy McCain’s name. According to the disclosure reports, which present information on debts in a range rather than providing a precise figure, Mrs. McCain owed $100,000 to $250,000 on each card.
I thought you had to pay off an American Express every month?

The old school AMEX makes you pay the balance every month; they have some new AMEXes that let you carry a balance.

That's only 2% of his income.

Another charge card, held by what was described as a “dependent child,”
How old are McCain's kids???
EDIT: Okay, I've been doing some research. Is this true (from Wikipedia)?
In 1979, McCain met and began an extramarital relationship with Cindy Lou Hensley, a teacher from Phoenix, Arizona, the only child of the founder of Hensley & Co.[58] His wife Carol Shepp McCain accepted a divorce in February of 1980, effective in April of 1980.
Way to go, Mr. "Traditional Marriage".
