I just signed up. I like that you can watch movies and TV shows online, it's pretty cool..

I'm watching Dexter right now..i don't have Showtime. I'll probably watch Weeds too

does anyone else use Netflix? Is it worth it in the long run?

If you watch a lot of movies during the month it is.

We still have it, but don't use it enough to justify it. We really need to cancel.

I used it quite a bit. The key is to subscribe, get the 4 or 5 freebies, then after about 6 months when you are hooked, cancel your subscription. Wait a few months (like during football season) and re-subscribe. You get another 4 or 5 freebies. YWIA

it's like $9.99/month and it includes unlimited streaming and i think 2 rentals at a time

We only have cable except during football season, and I definitely get my money's worth from Netflix when we don't have cable (and I can't even watch instant movies because mac sucks) In the fall between football and Tivo, I don't use Netflix very much.
I can't imagine you'd really need netflix AND cable unless you really spend a lot of time with the TV.

At that price you probably got the one dvd rental unlimited.

I pay $15.04 per month for two dvd rental unlimited. All plans come with the streaming option.

I'm loving Netflix. We tried it out three weeks ago, and we are thoroughly enjoying the three movies at a time plan.

Okay. So I'm thinking about canceling my HBO which I think is costing me about $12-15/Month...and then I'll sign up for Netflix. The only thing I'll miss about HBO is the occasional good boxing I get to watch.

Good idea or bad idea?? Do you all highly recommend netflix or not?

It's worth every cent to me, If it wasn't for live sporting events I wouldn't even bother to have cable.
