My Blond Daughter( raised by her Mom from the tender age of 8 )
Dropped outta skool to get hitched at 16, Needless to say her and I didnt see Much of each other for a few years. The dude was and Is a Maggot .
She Gave me My 1st Grandson, so we kissed and Made up.
Anyways at My urging she Has since gotten her GED . and Is Graduaiting tonight from NURSING Skool :D

Vet - I have a similar situation with my 22 year old. Saw her twice or three times a year between the ages of 3-18 (her ages). She came to FL to live with us the weekend she graduated from HS. Her r'ship with her mom broke down and it's not much better now. That was in 2004.

She is now married and doing her own thing. I talk to her and feel affection and love from her like I never have before. I definitely understand the "proud Daddy" part.

Keep working it, bro.

But once again, congrats and kudos to your daughter for returning to school. Everyone who's done it that I've talked to (including mom, who switched professions at age 45) says it is waaaaaay difficult to be non-traditional :)
