I heard this while driving home last night on the BBC.

$23bn may have been lost, stolen or just not properly accounted for in Iraq. (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/7444083.stm)

This is classic too

A US gagging order is preventing discussion of the allegations.

The order applies to 70 court cases against some of the top US companies.

Gee, I wonder why people who know about this aren't allowed to talk about it?

Maybe the BBC can find the WMD?

This is good too:

In the run-up to the invasion, one of the most senior officials in charge of procurement in the Pentagon objected to a contract potentially worth $7bn that was given to Halliburton...

Yeah, that person lost their job. Got demoted for "unsatisfactory job performance" Right:rolleyes:

I just wonder what companies are listed in those 70 sealed cases?

And gee, why did Halliburton get the no compete contract?
