He was going to verbal today.

But, it looks like it won't be for a few more days now.

We need to start landing some OL with the numbers we are about to graduate.

Rhino, why is it that we offered OL schollys later than any other position this year?

Ya still got some talented jrs and sophs at OL, but yah more is better.

OL is usually a tougher position to evaluate this early -- especially if all you have available is film.

We should have a couple OL verbals within the month. We'll probably take 4 or 5 total this year.

Rumblings in Texas is that 2008 signee Britt Mitchell has left the summer workout program and gone back home. There is nothing saying he is gone for good, but apparently the workout program is a little bit more rigorous than he was anticipating.

Anybody else heard similar? I searched the forums but could not find anything.

Anybody else heard similar? I searched the forums but could not find anything. Nothing new. Quite a few kids quit during summer workouts and come back.

It'll only be news if he no-shows fall camp or transfers to another school this summer.

Consider Britt gone. He's off to bigger and better things.
