Yesterday 2 young girls ages 11 and 13 were murdered near the town of Weleetka, which is just about 13 miles from here; as of tonight i'm not sure that anyone has been arrested in this case, but i'm hoping it happens soon; you can find links to this story on any of the Oklahoma news stations; there has also been a fund set up to help pay for their funerals and i think that info is on the KOTV Channel 6 web site story; this is way too close to home and an unthinkable tragedy.

CNN has picked it up too. There are some seriously messed up people in this world.

Yes there are;i've lived here for 42 years, and i've never heard anything this horrible happening in this area.

What I read this Morning was they didnt KNOW what Happened .
So for sure some Maggot Did em ?
Ill continue to Pray for the Families .

Yes, both girls were shot; the stories have been updated.

I don't know of any online link, but the Bank Of Commerce in Weleetka has 2 separate accounts set up; the phone number of the bank is 405-786-2216; let's all pitch in even if it's just 5 bucks each to help these familes out in their time of need.

From the KOTV video it looks like they were walking down a dirt road. Usually not many people go down those dirt roads unless they live somewhere off it.

Yeah, i think that road wasn't that far from one of the houses and the girls weren't doing anything they hadn't done before; there's been word that a suspect MAY have turned himself in for questioning, but nothing concrete yet

This thread needs to be bumped; 4 days and still no credible leads or persons of interest; America's Most Wanted is supposed to do a feature on this story Saturday night at 8 PM from what i have been told.

This was awful. I read today that at least they had someone come forward that remembered driving past the two girls minutes before they were killed. Hopefully that will get them a lead somehow. Maybe they passed the killers vehicle soon after or something. Geeze. Horrible situation for these families and that town.
