heh ;) Im a grad student rememebr... I teach also. Going for my Piled high and deep degree. Global Farce heh.. the globe is warming like it or not that part isnt disputable.

Anyway an example of why I hate GW from an environmental perspective. He wanted to classify all different salmon species as the same fish... this makes a huge difference on ecosystems that these fish are native too as they are the nutrient ebb and flow in and out from the ocean... it was basically to attempt to remove restrictions on preserved river systems with endangered pacific salmon species because atlantic salmon are so abundant (in farms on the west coast:eek: , the actual species on the east coast is federally protected)

Also I am tired of my representative to the entire world not knowing proper english and sounding like a ****ing retard. ya i may do that sometimes but im not the president.

Unfortunately that is the case and I know it... yet these salmon are what supply the timber on the westcoast with their nutrients etc etc etc... its all linked

This is part of one of the big problems with science is that we are so far disconnected form the public and everything get spun both ways by the media so everyone ends up :confused: on top of that people are busy they dont have time to figure out some shat like that, that doesnt directly affect em much in their eyes. Unfortunately alot of these type of things indirectly affect people and then they are like wtf.

not to mention that everything underneath it dies... they all have fish lice, they use a proven cancer causing dye to make the meat pink, and all of the native fish runs get sea lice as baby fish and die on their way out of the river to the sea.

Don't get me wrong-line caught red from a good river still tastes pretty good, but nowhere near as good as silver.
