In all honesty, I never understood how anyone was able to wear flip-flops. I always found 'em to be about as comfortable as walking on broken glass.

They are wakeskate shoes. You get the function of a shoe with a nice sole but they are quick drying, mesh on the side so they breathe, and the sole drains quickly. It's a hybrid shoe/water shoe.

And no one sees your toes.

My thoughts exactly on the reef runners looking kind of "Chrissy Everett". I was thinking more the sandal looking things, with the "stub your toe" protector front, and the running style sole and strap. You know, kind of like those sandals they sell to play golf in type thing? :D

I have several flip flops.

one made by Crocs that I wear the most, double velcro pair with regular shoe bottoms, pair that are very nice with a cotton-thread-like feel on your feet, and another pair that fit real snug you don't feel like they are going to come off....and they have a bottle opener on them, couple of Born leather brand that absorb moisture that I wear when i dress up, and a pair that I wear into the showers at the OU health club.

Sandals/ flip-flops will forever reign supreme!!!!!!!!!!!!

No way in hell I'd ride a motorcycle with those things on. Not only are the ghey, I don't see how they're gonna protect your feet when they don't even cover them.

Well, they are marketed in Bangladesh, I don't think they "get" the concept of safety gear over there.

I don't ride without either my Sidi or Ariat boots on, my Sidi's have a nice scrape from my crash last year...with those my toes would have been ground down.

I wear flip-flops all the time... Rainbow makes a really nice pair, as does reef. I have the Reefs with the bottle openers in the soles. FTW.
