We had Severe weather and flooding the last week here, too. 5/30, 6/3 and 6/4.

I had 5 storm reports to NWS on Friday night alone...all for gusts of 60+. Trees and **** down everywhere. Our local 'small creek' swallowed up our town's park when we got 4.50" of rain in 24 hours. Tornadoes around the area destroyed a lot of homes, too.

I couldn't sleep from all the thunder/lightning tuesday night. Unbelievable.

Stay safe down there tonight yall.:gary::pop:

Mike Morgan saying this is going to be the biggest outbreak of the year....oh how the weather people are looking forward to this. I will be in west OKC watching The Finals with some friends so at least I will be with others "enjoying this" so....everyone be on the lookout and be safe.

If your going to watch the Finals, pray Channel 5 doesn't interrupt for non-severe weather. They have a habit for breaking in for the littlest things.

Heh, they already told people to change to cable 22 if they cut in.

It's pretty bad still, a bunch of our Cox guys from OKC have been in Tulsa rehanging aerial drops since Monday....and they are STILL HERE!

I hope they get to spend some down time with their families, we sure appreciate the help those guys have given us.

Nice, they cut into the game for weather coverage. Thanks Rick Mitchell and the channel 5 production staff.

The wind was unreal in the Joplin, mo area under mostly sunny skies this afternoon....like it was preparing for a real stem-winder tonight.

this was nothing more than your average late spring/early summer thunderstorm with a little wind

the local weather people have tried to create news when there wasn't any again

Until you lose a phase and have to replace the line on your dime...plan on about 6K - I know.

I had that rumor confirmed by somebody who was a year ahead of him, so it's not just an urban legend.

When I interned for Channel 9 back in 2002, both Mike Armstrong and Jed Castles confirmed it...he got busted cheating on a thermodynamics exam and was kicked out of the School of Meteorology.
