The song was on XM 80's channel this weekend. I forgot how bad that POS song really was. It was very bad.

Has Obama been on Saturday Night Live yet?

I think a Rev. Wright skit would help the ratings. :D

I'm a Paul McCartney fan of immeasurable scope And I say to you, YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!!! I cannot stand that song!!!! Sometimes I think McCartney spent so much effort keeping himself calm and not pummeling Yoko Oh No in the late 60s, that he fried the section of his brain used for writing songs. Try and catch some of his looks towards her in “Let It Be”. That is if the dang film is released again.

I think Paul has come to grips with what happened during the Let it be recordings.

John was just as much to blame as Yoko. I'll never believe that Yoko mind *ucked John into doing the things he did.

Paul just couldn't deal with the fact they needed to take a break as a Band. He wasn't ready to stop being a Beatle and John was.

George and Ringo simply didn't have what it took to repair any of the hard feelings that transpired after the break up.

This is really just my opinion as when it happened I was in Jr. High and I couldn't believe it happened and figured someday they would get back together.

After John died...The Beatles completed their History as a Band.

Even if Paul, George and Ringo could have found a clone for John...it wouldn't have ever been the same. They were amazingly even when they didn't get along.

I hope someday Paul and Ringo can get together and release a Complete package that has all their lives Before, During and After the Beatles broke up.

There are so many folks who would soak up every morsel like sopping up all the gravy with a bisquit.

Paul and Linda really put out some horrible stuff and John did stuff I didn't care for too.

Harrison's Concert for Bangledesh is a Classic IMO and Ringo has and always will be Comedy Gold.

RIP John, George and Linda....

The crack about Mrs. Starkey's boy, is that comedy or are you just not a good judge of talent?

Twitchy mouse finger.

I agree with your other statements about the Beatles. Paul was really into the camaraderie of it all and didn't want to split. Yoko just happened to be the woman Lennon was with at the time. Could’ve been someone else easily. However, I don’t think that Paul, Ringo and George had any intentions of going on as the Beatles without Dr. Winston O. Boogie, if that is what I understand from your clone remark. Lennon had his “Mother” issues and Paul had control issues. George found Hare Krishna and Ringo eventually found Barbara Bach. YEOW!!! I like Ringo’s solo work and have most of his CDs. The sum of the parts was definitely not as great as the whole in the Beatles case but greatness does abound in those releases. I gravitated from high school in 1975 and music like the Beatles and the Who and Floyd kept me sane. Well, as sane as I was going to be.
