'bout 6 months ago, the Wife Unit mentioned that I could do with spending more time with the kids. Thus, kickboxing got shelved. Bicycling, too.

Then, I got busy at work. Way damn busy. About as busy as I've ever been.

morning workouts got curtailed so I could get to wherever I needed to be.

then, family events/issues. My brother-in-law got sick. We started eating out more. Had a few work birthdays. cake. Mexi-food and bbq. Pasta. Just had Dad's 70th B-day party. cake. steak. More cake.

the past couple of months have been a bacchanal of food. I'm going on vacation tomorrow. More eating in store.

I am huge. A slug. None of my "M" shirts fit. Not all of the "L" shirts do, either.

It ends right now. I'm not going to wait until after vacation. Right f'n now.

I'm 5'9" on a good day. Borrowing VK's stilettos. Czar has pix somewhere, I'm sure.

At my all time highest, I was just shy of 190. Right now, I'm 180, a weight I did not intend on seeing again in this lifetime. On my ****ant frame, anything much over 175 is an issue.

So, for lunch, I picked up the kids. At their direction, we went to Freddies, where I limited myself to a double (California-style), fries, unsweetened tea and only a waffle-cone of frozen custard.

The line has been drawn.

Okay. Now dinner is done.

Had the leftovers from Dad's 70th b-day. I polished off the remains of a bone-in rib eye. and a filet. and a t-bone. plus the mushrooms in butter. Had a v-8 for my veggies. Then yogurt. Cherry.

This is it, people. I'm making my stand.
