I know that the kicker gets overlooked for the obvious reasons but we need to include them in our discussions and polls of all time Sooner greats. Again, if I left someone off, I apologize in advance, and please write the player in. I'll do the punter later this week, so we can leave this poll to place kickers.

Vote away.

I think the Lashar boys should count as one kicker

Got to go with Uwe.

Side note: got to meet the man himself at a charity golf event Monday. On behalf of all the men who were attending OU during the fall of 1977 (when he kicked the winning field goal versus Ohio State), I thanked him for helping me get laid.

Uwe is the only real candidate for this. There have been some great kickers at OU, but he is a giant.

Tony Dirienzo made something like 65 consecutive PAT's. I think he led the nation in scoring in 71 or 72.

If I remember right (I was just a little punk at the time) but Tony DiRienzo set the NCAA record for most consecutive PATs, but that record was broken by Uwe.

Is that confirmable? That's how I remember it, though.

Uwe!

I never saw him play, but the Ohio State game is legendary. My dad told me that story so many times I can see it clearly in my head! - Super Clutch

I remember watching him warm up when my High School played (I think it was) Ardmore, and he was hitting from 70 yards.

But yes Uwe was # one For Many reasons - especially after THE KICK against THE OSU.
Then I would have to put Tony at #2

And Lashar would be my #3 - Especially after the kick against Neb.
