Is there anything better on a hot day than a ripe, storebought potato? Such tasty goodness, especially when paired with thin sliced roast beef plate.

Another favorite is the potato salad--red potatoes, sour cream, mayonnaise, hard-cooked eggs, red onion, and dill, along with dill pickles, green onions, and celery, so yummy!

My grandmother and my mother made potato salad with sweet pickles. Neither of them are yankees.

No joke. Sweet pickles don't go with anything in my kitchen.

Sweet potatoes however are another story. I ate half of a HUGE baked SP yesterday as a mid afternoon snack. I'm about to go warm up the other half...

My Momma always just used the Dill spears as a decoratin thing , placein in between the 1/2 Hardboiled eggs :D

sweet pickles, meh! Anything that calls for sweet pickles, substitute with jalepenos and you'll be better off!

Walt's potato salad that we have at a lot of the tailgates and everybody rants and raves about only has 5 ingredients, and three of them are potatoes, salt, and pepper.

Ive 1/2 a sack of taters that are going soft. Might as well use em up .
