Muse = Queen

Really listen to the Muse songs. Notice how layered the vocals are? How each song is different and a little out there but still cool? They really remind me of a modern day Queen. I'm not saying they sound just like them but the styles are a lot alike. What do you think?

I like them. I got a couple of their albums and really dig it. That opening baseline on Hysteria is freaking great.

I can see the Queen comparison. One of the reasons I liked them from the first time I heard them was because they sound like over-the-top, glammy, late 70s, early 80s rock to me. Sort of celestial, like Billy Thorpe's "Children of the Sun." Like Aldo Nova a little bit too. Maybe even a bit like Journey, circa "Escape."
