not me. my mom has a homemade hummingbird feeder with "better" food than that red juice most feeders have and has a ****-ton of hummingbirds at her place....but, you don't see where they come from. or where they go.

I think they Hatch and Become small birds at hatchin
What is it about em that makes us want to put out feeders?
Is it cause they so little ?
Personaly I like the way they fight each other for the feeder then Take a Break and all sit around Taking a drink, Get their Breath then start fightin each other again .:D

I guess it's because they are so small and evasive. Also, they leave turds on your windshield tiny enough to see through.

Reminds me of a family of 5 brothers I grew up with.

My brother has a pair of hummingbirds who built a nest 5 years ago in his Trumpet vines on the patio arbor. They come back every year. I have seen the nest, but not the hatchlings. We try not to disturb them.
