Some of you know that I just remodeled the Daughter's room and that she was grounded because of school work.

Well...the other night she made me proud.

She was THE ONLY ONE at the recital that had her two songs memorized.

She played both of them by memory.

I'm very prOUd of her.

Here's a little of it...(BTW...these were done by the Wife with the digital camera...I have the whole thing on a Digital Video Camera I just haven't edited that yet so sorry about the quality).

The first two videos are pretty short (16 secs each). The 3rd one is 1:54.

The songs...The Pink Panther by Henry Mancini and the second song is Flamenco (A Spanish Cultural Piece)

My wife and I are going to get a baby grand for our formal dining room sometime this year. Then she hopes to give the kids and me lessons on how to play.

Great job little Stooptrop.

Awesome! Our five-year-old had her first violin recital last Sunday. She also did great. I was a proud mommy!

Excellent. I really wish I had been able to keep my piano up through high school and college. I could really use it right about now.
