I was just thinking that we are going to be losing all starters on the O-line. I believe that is correct, so does anybody have any idea on what it will look like in 2009. I know we'll have Stephenson, Alex Willliams, Good, Habern, T Williams, Simmons, Mitchell, Cooke, and Brandon. Any ideas on what it will loook like on the field? I know we have a lot of time before then but we look good this year so maybe it's ok to look ahead.

How are we looking at QB in '13?

Trent Williams and Brian Simmons have a good amount of experience already. I'm sure with this road grading offense, coaches will be able to sub out first team quite often to get the backups some experience.

LT: Corey Brandon
LG: Donald Stephenson/Stephen Good
C: Jason Hannon/ Ben Habern
RG: Brian Simmons
RT: Trent Williams

Who the hell knows though. Might be looking for a juco player or 2 this year.

I like your line. Hannan was the #1 center according to rivals coming out and I know Habern was awesome. That might be one of the battles to keep an eye on. What has happened to our lineman leaving for injuries and other stuff over the last 5 years or so.

I think the more pertinent question is this: Who will start at weakside linebacker, come the 2037 season?

Longsnapper 2012?

Longsnapper 2012?

I'll be Bob's replacement in 2012.

He left for the NFL after winning the MNC in '09, '10 and '11.

I'm going to change a few things up. :D

I'm not trying to sound rude, but I don't want to look ahead past '08.
I'm hopeful that this 2008 O-Line will live up to the hype. I've heard once again from the media that "OU has the best O-Line in college football coming into 2008"...I think it's time we play like it. No bonehead penalties, let's freaking dominate everyone, let Sam break more records, protect him to the max so he can lead us to an undefeated season. That's as far as I want to look.

Williams, Simmons and Brandon have some experience already on the O-line. Strategy of rotating in the new blood to keep the line fresh was a good idea last year. Wish we had a little more depth at D-line but I hear that we do have a couple of good rookies who need time to show their stuff. The 2008 O-line will be one of the country's finest... if not the best. 99 days until game 1... and it will be televised so that even us Sooners in Virginia can watch.

I'm a big fan of the triple tight end set!

I thought Trent Williams was a projected starter? If so, we lose only 4.

However, we have been recruiting for this day. Stephen Good, Donald Stephenson, Ben Habern, Brian Simmons, Cory Brandon, and Jason Hannon should fill in nicely. Not to mention any recruits we land for the 2009 season.

Williams over Braxton. Didn't they rotate last year?
