They might have lost their musical taste, but at least they still have the humor thing down.

I hate that song with my entire body. Even my pee-pee.

Weezer is officially dead to me.

that could very easily be a track from the blue album. they are the masters of short, catchy jams.

radiohead they aint but that doesn't make em bad.

The jam is fine, but the lyrics are aggravating. Ooh, I'm gonna make a joke about hiring Timbaland 'cause I'm indie and don't give a f*ck!

At this point, Rivers might want to give Tim a call. Unless they released the worst song on the album as a first single as a sick joke, this album is finishing the job that Make Believe started.

Hear! Hear! Rivers has gone from decidedly original and awesome indie-pop with references to Cio-Cio San and Kitty Pryde to mediocre indie-pop with references to Timbaland? **** you. You will never sell as many albums as Fall Out Boy, don't go for the lowest common denominator and make that attempt.

I thought it was funny.

I'm not deep enough for it to **** me off.

Yeah, I'm not really looking for deep out of Weezer.

Catchy power-pop with semi-literate lyrics is what they do. I'm not sure why anyone expect them to reinvent music with every album or something.

They were looking for giggles and got them. (at least with us simple folks)

Tune was listeneable and video was funny to some. I suppose that's what it is all about when you name yourselves "Weezer."

I guess when they write a deep, earth-changing tune and produce a video that is dark and changes anything, I'll see them in a different light.

I don't expect them to reinvent music. I just didn't want them to reinvent suck.

I don't worship Weezer lyrics, it's just hard for me to figure out how the band that made Pinkerton, also made this. It's catchy tune, I just think they are capable of more.
