Phew, for a second there I thought it was former Washington State and NFL quarterback Jack Thompson, the "Throwin' Samoan."

He found an issue to attach himself to that would make a name for himself... too bad he lost his livelihood in the process.

It happens to elected officials all the time. Too bad they gain the new livelihood of "career politician" in the process.

People of Florida: DON'T VOTE FOR JACK THOMPSON... not that he's running for anything (yet)
