I dealt with people like that when I was with dish, I would make offers that were more then fair and they'd try for more and more, or they'd call back after someone had already compensated them.

If they didn't take my offer, or make a reasonable counter offer, the account was noted that they declined compensation and to not offer further compensation.

Whether they were whiners or not...

I love taking my money elsewhere when I don't feel good about the experience. I think maybe Royal Caribbean did right the right thing eventually.

If I had one bad experience and they didn't either take care of my concerns or offer me a perk I wanted, I would have stopped going on their line and getting to the point I was banned would never have happened.

Matter of fact...I've been on a Royal Caribbean Cruise and I think I'll try Norwegian Cruise Line next time. I'd like to have a few and sit back and watch the Morans work. I'm sick like that. :D

Spek to Melo.

I've only written a few complaint letters in my life. When I complain, I usually don't expect any compensation (save one trip last year on Southwest that was a complete cluster****), I just expect someone to take me seriously and make some changes to the system so others won't have to go through what I wen through.

These two seem like nothing but scam artists...hopefully, one of these cruise lines will just save us the time and trouble by throwing them overboard or keel hauling them. ;)

I did complain to AT&T 2 times in the last month, but that's because they have stupid rules.

I moved and changed my cell phone number. I have an international plan. When you change address and phone number, they have to cancel your old account and create a new account, new accounts aren't eligible for international calling plans. Then they would do it if I faxed them bills showing my new address (hello, i just freakin moved, and I do paperless billing as much as possible). They ended up adding the plan back on for me, then I discovered they put an activation charge on my account, called and they reversed it. They know it's a problem with their system and not being able to do moves correctly.
