Foil and Saran Wrap

I got this email from one of my Aunts.

In it is this message about Aluminum Foil and Saran Wrap containers and how you can push the tabs at the end of the box in and the roll won't come flying out when you pull on it.

I think I knew about it a few years ago but had since moved on to using so many more Ziplock bags that I forgot.

I just checked ours and low and behold...the tabs weren't pushed in.

This ranks right up there with the fact that you can wash your lint catcher in your dryer with soap and water and increase the drying power.

Try it. Run water in your lint filter and I bet none goes through. Scrub it with water and soap and prepare to be amazed.

Nope. It leaves an invisible film on it. Try it.

Take it out, take all the lint off, and run water over it. Chances are, it will "fill up" with water with very little going through. The water should flow right through like you would expect it to being a screen.
