I think I'm going to a beginner's kayak trip on the Watauga River on Saturday.
Then probably just chill the rest of the weekend. Got some biker buddies on the way through this week headed to DC.

Thems the guys. One of these years I'm going to go along with them. They always invite me, and I always forget to plan ahead for this weekend.

I'll be doing some brick and mortar shopping for my new 50" plasma tv. If I can't find a deal I like then I'll be going through 85Sooner and getting it from him.

that and just cook, and chill...

Lake Fort Gibson with the family probably.

Uhh, you might want to call ahead. I played golf at Western Hills on Saturday and that course is WEEKS away from NOT being underwater. They had 9 holes open.

In other words, the lake is way up so you might have to do some work to find a boat launch that's open or a camp site or whatever you're doing. Just FYI.

Tenkiller, however, should be just fine. :)

Tenkiller was still muddy and cold as of 5 p.m. yesterday. It will warm up a little this week if it doesn't rain a bunch. I can't imagine the water will be much more than 70-75 degrees and that's too cold for me.

I'll be setting on the front deck watching the houseboats go by. I bet it would take $400 worth of fuel to get one of those things from Pine Cove to the Highway 82 bridge and back.

cooking for the bourgies on Friday and Saturday....a whole lot of nothing on Sunday and Monday. drink some and listen to tunes, i'd guess. not leave the house. Boulder kind of sucks that weekend with all the suburbanites in town for a big, town suffocating "run". like ants. white people in white t-shirts and white socks and white shoes and water bottles "having fun".

Way too cold for me too, but I was talking about the lake levels. The last time I was out there, TK wasn't flooding the camping areas or boat launch areas.

Heh. That weekend we move into the theater and start dress rehearsals, so I'm going to be at work approximately 15 hours a day.
