26 years ago, on this day in 1982, a pretty young newly minted BSN graduate from the Medical University of South Carolina agreed before God and our families to join her life forever to a goofy young second lieutenant from Ardmore.

I wouldn't trade her for a sack of nickles or a National Championship.

That is all.

And 24.5 years later, a hawt older chick did the same thing for another goofy young second lieutenant. :D That butter bar wasn't a pilot though, he was a backseat driver.

Congrats sir.

Yewwwww betcha! Married a week after commissioning at the university chapel. A military wedding, replete with arch of sabers; me with saber and spurs; a TexAg Senior, booted and spurred; as best man.
The night before is, was, and shall ever remain, a blur.

LF
Whom, that very night, drove the saber to the hilt for Garryowen.
