Totally depends on how the bacon is cooked.

There are three levels...

Burned
Crispy
Road Kill

Good for you and others reading this like you. I've read and sodium reduction might be the most critical part of weight loss and preventative medicine.

Eh... might as well try it.

it's hard to choose between turkey sausage and turkey bacon so I would say both.

Seriously, I've read sodium reduction helps with more extreme results than many of the BP meds out there.

Worth a try, right? Sooner?

The other day while I was standing in line at the work cafeteria, I was looking at the ala-carte menu and wondered if I had enough cash on me to buy all the bacon they had.

I ended up only getting four strips though.

And a biscuit & gravy... and three scrambled eggs... and some hash browns. :O :O

Oh and Biscuits and Gravy.

Upgrade to:
Bizkits and Sawsidge Gravy, with aigs uber eezy, grits, some Tabasco(TM), some baykun on teh side, extry bizkits with buttah and grape jam, all preceded by some 'mater joose with a dash of peppah. Lots 'o kawfee.
Optional: Replace Item One with good ol' Army SOS.
When I was a dashing young tank company CO at Ft. Riley KS, circa the Jurassic Period, I had a Mess Sergeant who bought REAL dried chipped beef to make the SOS. The officers and NCOs paid for it out of pocket, enough for the entire company.
The Mess Sgt. would cut some bizkit dough with a coffee can...huge! Every morning, when we weren't in the field, I'd totter into the Mess Hall at OhGodThirtyHours and he'd put a pot of excellent java before me, then serve those huge bizkits, split, with an over-easy aig atop each half, smothered in SOS!
Real Tabasco(TM) added, then GAME ON!
A hot sweet roll for 'zert, and I was ready to mount my steel steed and charrrrrge!
For some reason, once word spread, the Battalion CO, the Brigade CO, (and once, the Division's Commanding General,) often appeared at the Alpha Co. mess for breffus..."Just passing by, Johnny. Stay for breakfast? OK!"
Thanks for letting me relive a vignette of the best years of my life.

i invited a bunch of my friends over wednesday night and cooked breakfast for dinner. I started frying bacon and they ate it as fast as it hit the plate, so i kept making more. I fried two pounds of bacon and lemme tell you, by the time i got to the end of that second pound it was like bacon concentrated. Sooooooo tasty.

hashbrowns, biscuits, bacon, eggs. I was going to make sausage, gravy, and pancakes too, but my friends said if I didn't stop cooking they were all going to explode.

I hate breakfast food, normally.
The smell of bacon makes me want to throw up. :O

However, give me an egg or two, scrambled, with some potaters cut up and fried in the bacon drippings.... I will eat. my. weight. in taters.

First choice for me is bacon. But if it is the least bit chewy where I have to yank a still-connected strand of bacon from my mouth to my hands, that sandwich is trash-bound.
