This'll be the first that's not a hand-me-down, yes. I was worried the wheels were going to fall of the Caddy before I had enough of an initial payment stashed away. And I'm just leasing, since a few years from now gas prices might be high enough I'll have to get a Vespa instead. Heh.

1. The Altima is built in Tennessee, IIRC. ;)

2. Price. Ford is EXTREMELY proud of the Fusion - a similar trim level on a Fusion would run me $28,000. A similar Dodge Avenger would go for about $26,000. This one goes for less than that, and has moar powah than a Mazda 3, which would be about the same price.

Plus, it looks like the 350Z, and I like the 350Z. :D

Trade it in. They won't give me much for it, but it has a TON of little things wrong with it.

Oil drip.
Needs new shock/struts.
Tires are bald.
Driver's side door doesn't unlock with the remote anymore.
Alarm system re-arms itself randomly.
Rear right corner rattles if I go around a left turn too fast.
There's an electrical bug in the dashboard - dials get really dim, then REALLY BRIGHT for no reason.
Armrests are cracking.
Some interior pieces on the C pillars are starting to fall down.

and on and on.

Man, the Nissan people are WAY too proud of that coupe. We got to talking numbers today and they want $500 per month for that thing. (They assume the car will de-value 50% over the course of a two-year lease, which is bull.)

Anyway, for what they want to charge me I could be driving a 3 year old BMW or Mercedes. Screw that.
