Our little shin-kicker was admitted last night for some abdominal pain and we would appreciate your prayers.

She's had this before (some of you may remember she had to be hospitalized about 2-3 years ago with the same symptoms) and they still don't know what's up. The doctor is coming by after noon and we should know a little more then.

Right now she's just doped up and resting. Hopefully she'll be out today or tomorrow - right now I'm leaning toward tomorrow.

I'll update when there's something to update.

Guh. Gallbladders are no fun. I hear they're almost as painful as kidney stones. ;) Which means only slightly less painful than having your fingers cut off with a stone chisel one at a time. Get better, Lil.

Looks like the gall bladder is fine.

She's feeling better, but still in some pain and sore. The doctor says its probably just a severe infection. Sending her off with antiobiotics and a diet of low-fat foods.

And, after an hour of waiting for the discharge papers, the nurse has finally been told that she needs to get those ready. Ugh.

Get well soon Lil . . . I'd still consider having the gall bladder looked at again. We ignored something similar with my wife for about a year and finally had it looked over really good by a specialist and had it removed and luckily things are much better now.
