the tournament is at oak hill. i'm at monroe golf club about 1 1/2 miles away from oak hill. monroe is another donald ross gem. 2nd best course in rochester behind oak hill - east. IMO.

rockin the sweater vest with the SPGA trophy....

most excellent.

I did not get one of those for my HIO......I could've used a sweater vest too.

Are you kidding? You think he'd join that crummy "snobatorium"? Why, that whole place sucks!
That's right. It sucks! The only reason he's there is maybe he'll buy it!

You never wear patterns with stripes, Pat - it's considered gauche. ;)

Hairy doesn't wear a glove, just like Lorena Ochoa! I bet he does that double follow-thru move thing too.

fadada1

...maybe I'm just not cool like that.

Then again, Hairy DID win wearing that dashing ensemble.

Anybody know of a good whorn lawyer who could help him out in the future? :D

You people just don't know style when you see it. The color in that picture is a bit skewed, the Zero Restriction wind vest is sort of gray. So it works....especially with the pants I was rockin.

Note the determination and the baby fade follow through....and the aw on Tim the bystander....this looked great in the paper. :)

I'm disappointed.

I did shoot a 42 yesterday on the 9 hole course.

It's coming together for me, I shot -1 during mens league last night. and I didn't birdie either par 5 and I had a bogey. Could have been a special 9.

of course now we will get three days of rain and I will forget everything I was working on.

damn you mother nature.

sooneron

I three putted twice! Well, sorta. I'm counting the old 8 iron chip from the fringe as a putt. That would have been a super sweet 5+ for me without them. Which is ahead of where I thought I'd be. My scrambling was c'est bon in the early going. I had 4 putts through 3 holes!
On the last hole, had a sweeping 25 footer for double! That's with penalty, due to brainfart tee shot.

From Demetri Martin:

I think vests are all about protection. Like, a life-vest protects you from drowning. And bullet-proof vest protects you from getting shot. And a sweater vest protects you from pretty girls.

No kidding, I was noticing that when I was uploading the pic. I'm guessing it was due to the REALLY strong winds blowing in Kauai. Plus, it's a resort course.
