Robert Downey Jr was the only true choice to play Stark....damn i've not had that much fun watching a movie in YEARS!
Batman Begins was good, and different in comparison to Iron Man...it's hard for me to compare the two.
Gotta call it a tie between the two of them.

The repulsor trials had me laughing, Obi is dickhead numero uno.

Sam Jackson shows up as Col. Nick Fury, Director of S.H.E.I.L.D. He tells Stark that he's not the only super-hero and wants to talk to him about the Avenger Initiative, hinting towards a team-up movie or sequel.

It was interesting watching the interview with Downey by the local fox guy who does the hollywood stuff. Favreau and Downey talking about how the studio wanted anyone but Downey to do it was good stuff. Then he blew them away doing a screen test and the studio ended up agreeing to back it.

Downey's comment of wanting to do a movie that would have 2-3-4 sequels was classic too.

I'm not a huge Robert Downey, Jr. fan....but I thought he was brilliant. His delivery was absolutely perfect. He made me really think he was Tony Stark. Great way to start the summer movie season.

I went and saw Iron Man (which was awesome) and because of this thread I stayed after the credits ran... EXTREMELY disappointed in what I got for the 10 minutes I stayed... but the movie was greatness.
