steely dan is coming to town this summer - outdoor concert. anyone seen them in the past couple years? almost can't pass up a classic act.
Saw them about 10 years ago outdoors in Dallas. If you like them, don't miss it. They are, however, not for everyone. I found myself singing along with EVERY song of a 2.5 hour set. There were many songs I had forgotten were theirs.
So, there you go. Before going I could have named maybe 6 or so of their songs but was amazed to find how many hits they've had over the years.

They are definitely not to my liking, and I change the station when they come on the radio...
...but if you like them you have my permission to go. :D

who pretends to be hip by listening to The Eagles and Steely Dan?

when i heard the intro, i realized it was sampled in this song, that always sounded funny to me for some reason, now i realize why...

you know, funny, other than a guy that calls himself "Lord Tariq" and the effects used to make it look like they are playing in front of a full baseball park
