Question about Rivals 2009 rankings

A lot of our players are listed as unranked.

What's the reason for this? Is Rival's rankings incomplete right now?

Yes, very incomplete A lot of guys haven't made it to scouting combines or summer camps and none of them have played their senior year.

If nothing else the mere fact these guys are joining the ranks of the Sooners will go a long way toward getting them ranked - theory being that for them to commit to OU they must be good. Of course the fact we're signing them tells you they are in fact darn good players.

After summer it'll be better, when they start playing next fall then the rankings will start shifting around quite a bit.
