Dang the rest of the week? I only took off Wednesday... I have never taken off work to play a video game but this one sounds like it will be justified. I didnt do the midnight release deal but I will be picking up a copy at lunch today. I doubt I'll make it to the 4pm quitting time today :D

I am so ****ed. I have been waiting for this game for the last year while they pushed it back and pushed it back.

Then, this weekend, the wife and daughter inform me that the xbox is not working.

I check it out, and sure enough, red ring of death.

So now i have to send it in. No GTAIV for me till it gets back.

just picked up a copy from Blockbuster (had a gift card that needed spent :D) and scored a cool framed picture of Niko holdin his gat in front of the Liberty City bridge. Pretty cool freebie if you ask me.

To answer your question Birddog, the games pretty much in stock anywhere and everywhere. There were lines of 100+ for the midnight release at different stores, but now it just normal shopper traffic ;)

This game had a first week sale of $500 Million. You read that right, folks, $500 Million.

The company TTI said they probably would have made another 20 million on top of that if Iron Man the movie had not came out in the same week.
