I was a big speed racer fan back in the day as well. Though I'm not sure about the movie, I didn't really like the previews. Unless some people here on the SO rave about it, I'm going to wait until it comes out on dvd.

Yeah it looks different that we're use to, but it's a "race car" movie to him, so that's pretty much my reasoning to see it. :)

Got a movie gift card, so if I don't like it, it won't be out of my pocket.
