It's long but doesn't look that high up. The fact that it goes from endzone to endzone is probably why it is so loud there

I hear that they acoustics in this stadium are just right, and it is one loud mother f'er if they get excited.

Dunno 'bout that. I graduated OU in '91, and immediately moved to Seattle, where I had UW season tickets during their national championship season. I went to all the home games and it never came anywhere close to being as loud as an OU game. And I was in the student section. And yep, they were great seats - way better than OU gives its students.

All that said, if it's a sunny day, the views of the lake, Cascades & Mt. Rainier are pretty spectacular.

The blocked view is this big pole that holds up the upper deck. I watched the Miami vs Washington game there back in 2000. And I sat right behind the damn thing.
