I was thinking about what ever happened to Chijioke and how it was possible that he wasnt a perrenial pro bowler in the nfl by now. turns out he didnt make it out of training camp, and is currently playing in the CFL. he had such potential. go figure...

Also, I have to say, CO was one of those dudes I assumed would accomplish so much more than he did. I mean, he was a JC transfer, not like some kid out of high school. He was kinda the Mike Reid prequel.

2007 Season: Recorded 15 tackles, 2 on special teams and four pass knockdowns.

Sometime during or after the 2007 season, he was cut.

Not only is the CFL second tier to the NFL and pays less and is in Canada, but American players have a tough time in the CFL because of Canadian rules regarding how many non-Canadians can play on teams. This likely led to his cutting, rather than non-productive outputs or anything along those lines.

Thus, another great college player doesn't continue with professional play, which is sad but then again, the shelf life of a pro footballer is an average of 2-3 years, I think. Get yourself an education while you're at OU, guys. You won't regret it.

Coming off the corner blitz. Just didn't happen. The only play I remember was him causing a fumble against Tejas. :(

I met him by chance last year when he was working out at the Berkeley High School track. Nice guy. Only had good things to say about OU and Norman.
