The best:
"Relax Max" from the Doubletree commercial

The worst:
The songs in the "Free Credit Report dot com" commercial - "selling fish to tourist in t-shirts." Gawd. Go get some Donnie Iris or something.

i really hate those new subway commercials with the five dollar footlong song. makes me almost vomit just thinking about it. and pretty much every song in ipod commercials is about as annoying as fingers on a chalkboard.

amazingly, that video turns up the Dave Edmonds/Nick Lowe Rockpile tune "Girls Talk". strange stuff. Nick Lowe on bass. good tune.

The worst part is that the whole premise is screwed up. How does simply knowing my credit score somehow help my buy a better car? Improving your credit score will do that, but that's not what they're selling.

This jingle's been stuck in my head for the past couple of days. Cincinnati Reds pitcher Bronson Arroyo hawking a local brand of beef, with two different versions (BTW, the other guy in the ads is Reds color analyst and former pitcher Chris Welsh):

That "signed, sealed, delivered" song in the new Mercury commercials is really starting to **** me off. They play that about 10 times each morning while I'm trying to watch the news and get ready for work. Arg.

I don't watch much TV, but I love the Sony commercials.

I can’t find my current favorite one on youtube. It is the one for the new Sony video camera that has face recognition and it focuses on a series of young kids doing all sorts of naughty things like purposely spilling a carton of milk, watching the remote float around the fish tank, painting the car, etc. The music is a catchy Polynesian/Hawaiian song with made-up, funny words. I love that song.

That commercial sucks but I find myself humming the damn thing. Pretty catchy and whoever made it, is probably pretty rich.

The Zoom Zoom kid, who suspiciously looks like former KU Jayhawk and current Chicago Bull Kirk Hinrich, was phased out by Mazda a few years ago. They still use "Zoom Zoom" in their ads, but they don't use that creepy kid anymore.

I'm also glad they did away with the guy in the trenchcoat in the old Sprint ads and the Pepsi girl, Hallie Kate Eisenberg. Now if they could just do away with the Verizon "Can you hear me now?" guy, the world would be a much better place.

the zoom zoom kid, while annoying was a key feature in the network advertising during the 2000 football season. i'm throwing that one a free pass for obvious reasons.

I really didn't like the one where he and his bandmates were jamming in his wife's parents basement they used as their house.
