They showed her wounds on the today show. The bullet struck the front of her skull, shattered into three pieces, which then deflected through the tissue just under her skin, around her face, and exited close to her ear.

Stitches. STITCHES!!!!

I just don't understand these cowards that have to travel in groups and pack heat just to shoot an innocent woman. IMHO, It's a special kind of cowardice. There needs to be a new nickname given to these societal leeches, one that accurately describes the vermin that they are.

Well, obviously they are murderous cowards, at least as far as intent goes. Inexcusable vermin. That said, the first thing I thought when I heard her describing the event is that she or her boyfriend (not sure who was driving), may have gotten into it with them over traffic, and she and/or the boyfriend might have gotten lippy.

That doesn't excuse anything that happened after, but something just seemed to be missing from the story she told on TV. Sounded like road rage gone really bad to me, rather than someone pulling up and shooting a random person, as she was portraying it.
