no need for the comma. if visual-reading tension along the linear sequence is what you want to create.....then, the ellipse the way to go if you want to indicate that completion of an idea, anticipation, or conditional statement is delayed or some conjunctural element has been omitted.....to create drama, "humor", or in this case....a run-on sentence.

and also, i saw Romney (the Heir of Reagan) has back off his previous comments criticizing McCain's "economic credentials" so the "unification/America Love" seems to be in swing.
