Family and friends,

I am excited to let you know that Brennan has won the state competition in the Playground Safety Poster contest. He competed against all the 2nd graders at his school and won. He then competed against all the 2nd graders in Broken Arrow and won. He has now competed against all 2nd graders in the State of Oklahoma and WON!!! His art teacher called me this morning and told me the good news and praised his artistic abilities. She said he is a wonderful little artist, very imaginative, and really able to execute it in his artwork.


Brennan won a $500 savings bond and a trip to the state capitol to meet Governor Brad Henry and have his picture taken with him. In addition, Brennan’s poster will be published in a calendar (not sure which one yet).
