Does this mean that we can cover Kansas basketball without mentioning 1988? Because, that'd be great.

I'm glad we're getting the usual completely ridiculous and unneccesary storm coverage instead of championship postgame stuff and One Shining Moment. Look, we know it's hailing outside, we have windows...cut in if there's a tornado bearing down, but that's it.

Once again, he reminds me of exactly why I hate him so much. There isn't a great sports moment he can't ruin with one of his patented "this will get replayed FOREVER" quotes. Die.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I happen to like Jim Nance. He hardly ever goes off an a tangent unrelated to the game or players involved; which is more than you can say for about 95% of announcers.

Nantz and Packer are one of the worst teams in sports.

Can't remember exactly who did the play by play/color combo for OU St Joe's, but that combined with some of the stuff from last night puts CBS NCAA coverage up for "you've got to be kidding me" announcing for 2008 along with co-finalist Brent Mussberger of ABC. While it wasn't last night, my favorite quote of the tournament went something like, "Taylor, Blake's twin brother...he's a little older and maybe a little taller...". Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't that Packer?

Congrats to KU.

Again, they show the Nation that the Big XII is for real.
