in new york state (apparently), you have to be 16 to use one of these:

we're trying to get all out outside staff kids ready to work for the year, and they need every piece of documentation under the sun. mind you, these are 16-17 year old kids. they need "working papers" from school in order to work after school. this is basically the same job i had... AT 14 YEARS OLD!!!!!! ... with no drivers license, filling gas powered carts... and not a working paper to be found.

back to the picture, apparently our club here got a "violation" last year because someone under 16 used one of these on the course. what, exactly, is wrong with this country and protecting children. i'm all for kids making it to adulthood, but if you can't operate a ball washer, you shouldn't make it to adulthood anyway. my thought is that some dumbass kid did something stupid, and his mom sued a golf course. shame on the lawyers who figured this "law" out.

you'd think most teenagers would have that technique down pretty good at their age.

Unfortunately there are a lot of stupid golf related rules.

i don't know... that very high tech piece of machinery probably needs to be operated by fully licensed engineers right?
