The Anchorage Glacier Pilots, an ABC club, has offered Barry Bonds a contract to play the 2008 season.

Reported on the Anchorage NBC affiliate were the following bonuses:

$200 for hitting more than 20 home runs.
$200 for being named ABL player of the year.
$200 for winning the Mayor's Cup (the season series with the Anchorage Bucs.)
$200 for winning the ABL championship and making the ABC World Series.
$100 for making the all-ABL team.

This is all in addition to room and board. That's right, Barry, if he REALLY applies himself, could make $900 playing baseball this summer.

I think this is his best offer so far.

Meh.

Maybe he and Pete Rose can hook up and go on a self-righeous memorabilia signing tour.
