If i could go 5 minutes without hearing them or nickelback, i would listen to the radio more.

They don't exactly RMSO, but Audioslave kinda grows on you.

Also: Guns N Roses. Hated them the first time around, but they've got some great tunes.

Fleetwood Mac.

I also like Led Zep way more than I used too.

What are you talkin' about? I've always been into these guys. (self-satisfied arm cross)

Rascal Flatts. Wasnt into country AT ALL, but now I can listen to the rock/country type stuff...and they are the best at that. Even considering concert tickets here in Dallas.

Muse: Would never have gone so far as to say that they "sucked" but they have really grown on me.

Metallica....when they were huge I wasn't onboard. Now I actually like some of their stuff....but I don't know about rawking my face off.

The Chili Peppers could fit here for me as well.

Pink Floyd and Led Zepelin on the vice-versa. They used to RMSO, but they are actually easier to listen to when you are totally stoned. If I hear them now, I actually have flashbacks! :D

I still love some of your more classic southern rock (i.e. Allman Brothers, 38 Special, Lynard Skynard), and have started listeing to some country crossover.

The counting crows.

Oh wait. I thought this was a thread about bands I used to think sucked, but now I know that they're the antichrist and should be banned from ever performing again.

Sorry 'bout that. Carry on.

Bjork.

She stopped sucking when she kicked the living crap out of that reporter. She still sounds like a shot dog and her music is retarded, but she doesn't suck anymore 'cause she brings it, dukes up.

Red Hot Chili Peppers.

I agree. My friend's band opened for RHCP in the early 80s, and being supportive of his band, I went to see him play. I watched the Peppers do their sound check and was unimpressed. After my friend was finished playing, I left.:(
Missed out on one of their crazier shows.

Last year, I was mesmerized by their grammy performance.

Used to hate them with a passion. Now I find myself listening to them more and more.

Growing up in the heyday of early 80s music videos, I despised Duran Duran with a passion; that, and it was also my sister's favorite band and she kept telling me how "great" they were.
Over the years, I've begun to dig their music and now own their greatest hits album. I like them a lot more than my sister does these days; she's probably embarrassed now to have been a fan of theirs.:D

Bruce Springsteen

Friends of mine surprised me with tickets to a concert of his while I was visiting Jersey. He put on a great show, but I've never been more than 'meh' when it comes to his music.

Pink Floyd.

Same here. I always disliked them as stoner rock. I respected their musicality and composition, but I didn't care for them. I didn't really get into them until I was 30 or so.

I agree with you mostly. But as I get older I seem to gravitate towards his music more and more. Maybe it's called maturity or a change in taste, I really don't know.

Oingo Boingo never sucked.

The best concert I've ever been to. Danny Elfman is a freakishly weird looking dude.

And yet somehow gets to swerve Bridgette Fonda and write some killer movie soundtracks.
