The RenCen sounds rowdy and loud again tonight. Tulsa leads 32-27 with 3:49 left go to in the first.

Win or lose, this run in the CBI has been phenominal for the TU program. The crowd support has been amazing, and if the football team can keep the momentum going with another good year and then the basketball team continues to improve, we could be on the verge of another golden age of TU sports. :D

Holy *ss, that was amazing! TU hangs on for the win and now they're going to have home court advantage for the best-of-three final series with Bradley.

the best-of-three final series with Bradley.

W00t! :D

I remember the knock-down dragouts Tulsa used to have with Bradley back in the Missouri Valley days. Good rivalry.

Yep, the radio guys were talking about that towards the end of last night's game. This should be fun.

Cool. How did they decide TU gets the homecourt advantage?

When it got to the final four, they reseeded the field. Tulsa is the #2 seed, and Bradley's the #4. Higher seed gets homecourt.

It bothers me when my co-workers laugh at my enthusiasm over the CBI championship - I wish there was some way to make it seem more legit. Then again, bowl season allows multiple teams to finish the season as "champions." Why not basketball, too?
